This isn't the only way to package samples for trade, obviously, but it works for me.
I fill the vials pretty full, almost to the top actually, and would appreciate it if you could do the same.
Here’s how I pack them:
1. Make sure the cap is on straight and tight, and then wrap the place where the cap meets the vial with electrical tape.
2. Label the outside of the vials with a sticker and Noodler’s Black ink. Scotch tape over the label to protect it from any possible spills.
3. Place the vials in a Ziploc baggy, remove the air, and seal. Tape the excess bits of baggy around the vials to ensure they remain immobile in transit. This seems to be the key step. Other FPNers have also put the taped vials in a metal Altoid box which also works quite well. Unfortunately, I’m not an Altoids fan.
4.Wrap in bubble wrap then put in an envelope or box with yet more fill to beep it from bouncing around. You can also tape a larger envelope to fit snuggly. Both have worked for me.
I haven’t had any leaks so far, so the overkill packing has been worth it.

I am interested in knowing what you bottle your ink samples in, like size and quantity. Do you strictly make trades or do you sell samples?
I'm full of questions and interest in some of the inks you have listed in your treasure trove.

Hi GrannyKass-
Right Now I'm just doing trades. However, I'm happy to answer any questions that you might have. Hopefully, I'll post my ink sampler one of these days (it fills two 1 1/2" binders.)
I use the vials from the FPN ink exchange program, which you can find here:
